What type of proteins are encoded by homeotic genes?

Homeotic genes regulate specification of segment identity during Drosophils development. For example, the birthorax complex specifies the identities of thoracic and abdominal segment. What type of proteins are encoded by homeotic genes?

DNA polymerase
structural protiens for wings, antennae, etc.
RNA splicing factors
transcriptional regulators that bind DNA
or
enzymes of energy metabolism

I think transcriptional regulators that bind DNA!

This question just came out for a test I sat for 6 hours ago and I think I got it wrong during the test…
