Keeping With the Pace of Regular Metabolic Rate

Metabolism

Metabolism determines our growth, thinking, behavior and honestly; it is responsible for the overall functioning of our bodies because it is what convert all the fuel we get from food into energy that keeps us going no matter how long our day is.
Metabolism takes place through thousands metabolic reactions happening at the same time on our bodies. All the reactions are regulated by the body to keep our cells healthy and working. Metabolism is a constant process from the minute a baby is conceived and is vital for all life forms and if it ever stops, the human being dies.
Metabolism burns calories on our bodies to keep us going no matter what the activities we are doing throughout the day. Our weight and the amount of cholesterol in our bodies is what regulate our metabolic rate. People with less fat on their bodies and people who exercise have a higher metabolism than people with fatty tissues simply because muscles utilize more calories.
Dieting and Metabolism
Low calorie dieting slows metabolism on a human body making it even more difficult to lose weight. The failure rate of most diet substances is enormous and thus people stay on them for a very long time before they can actually see the results. As a result diets constantly slow their metabolic rate even more and thus making them gain more weight.
In order to prevent the slowing down of metabolism when using low calorie diets, people can take metabolism boosters and therefore their metabolic rate can speed up even if they are on diet. Natural foods that boosts metabolism can be taken instead of pills as some pills contain animal thyroid extract and therefore come with side effects. However, not all of the pills contain animal thyroid extract but you have to be careful and check their ingredients. Pills also help in conditions of heart attacks where blood flowing to the heart muscles has blocked and the lowering of the metabolic rate occurred.
While cholesterol and dieting are seen as the co- reasons for slowing down metabolism, they are however not the only reasons. Fasting, sweet snacks, food containing too much saturated fat and the underactivity of the thyroid slows down metabolism as much as dieting or cholesterol does. Therefore you do not need to feel obese or to be a diet fan to take metabolism booster but it is something that every human being who has not established friendship with a gym because of either being stuck at the office even after hours or simply because of being indolent should take.
