  1. I was skeptical when purchasing this book, of course. Upon reading it, I started paying attention to my breathing, and couldn’t believe how often I was holding my breath and not breathing at all. I’ve become much more conscious about it, and when I notice that I’m holding my breath, usually when under stress, I do some of Pam’s exercises.

    The benefit? The weight is literally falling off. Although I am dieting, I am doing the same diet as pre-Pam. Before I read this book, I could not lose ANY weight, no matter how “good” I was. Now, doing the same diet, I have been losing 2-3 pounds per week, and without much exercise. I’ve lost over 20 lbs, and have about 25 more to go, and am confident I will reach that goal very soon. I’m almost worried that I’m losing too fast! You must try this book if you are sick of dieting without results!

  2. If you are looking to fix a “fast” or miracle cure for weight loss will not find here. What you will find is the sound principles that work as a great tool in your arsenal against premature aging and weight gain. I lost inches and toned by the following simple exercises Ms. Grout and learning of this enhancement just any other training or eating program I tried. It is a great tool that can be overlooked. I recommend it highly.

  3. Book Ms. Grout is a quick read with a very down-to-earth tone. I really enjoyed incorporating breathing techniques in my life – for example, several of their “cocktails” and deep breathing techniques are great when you feel stressed at work, and can be done in a room full of people who does not seem strange. Although I know that my weight loss (35 pounds so far) is a result of new consumption and exercise habits, the “milk” breathing has become a wonderful addition to my routine – very stress-relieving and energizing! Good work, Pam!

  4. I just bought this book a couple of weeks ago. It was a strange concept: “re-learning” how to breathe. I followed the exercises (or “cocktails” as Ms. Grout calls them) and I have lost weight and inches and my energy has really picked up! Ms. Grout’s writing style is very upbeat and familiar. It’s like she is a family member or a best friend. That makes this book a fun read! I have given this book to family and friends, I think it is a little gold mine. Losing a dress size or more without sweating? Without sore muscles? It’s true!

I am dancing and singing in the shower since I make these exercises! Definitively I am losing weight, but even if it was not it, seguirÃa to make this program, gives to a new perspective of my dÃa me. A añadida advantage: I am a trained singer, and these exercises of wonders for the control of respiracià ³ n!
