Does adderall XR affect someone natural metabolism after getting off the drug with substantial use?

Ive been taking adderall for about one and half years and it supresses my appetite alot. I take vitamins to help, I naturally have a high metabolism, but my concern is not eating and if it will cause my metabolism to slow down? And if i will ever get my natural metabolism back after i quit taking it. I stopped taking it for a month and i gain almost 7 pounds is it because of the medicine?
adderall just surpreses ur appitite, it doesnt change ur metalbolism.. when you go off it you eat more because your hunngry now when before you weren't. your just eating more than you were before so its natural that u gai weight (the weight ou most likely lost when you were on it)

Adderall does supress your appetite, but keep in mind that not eating will send your body in horde mode, and will start storing your fat for energy. I have been on adderall XR most of my life, and now I am having a really hard time losing weight because I did not eat healthily for so long. So, while Adderall will not decrease your metabolism, not eating will.
